The past few months have been pretty hectic as far as film festivals are concerned.

The Bangkok International Film Festival was a lot of fun and we caught up with old friends and filmmakers. We got to meet one of our heroes, the cinematographer, Chris Doyle, who was in his usual buoyant mood!

We had great screenings in the San Francisco Bay Area as part of the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. It was a homecoming of sorts as both of us had studied and started our filmmaking careers here. Thanks to all our old friends and acquaintances who were there to support us.

Meanwhile, in London, the film was enthusiastically received at the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival where it was voted "Best of Fest".

The film also screened at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, the Minneapolis-St Paul International Film Festival, the Roma Independent Film Festival and the Trento Film Festival in Italy.

It will next screen at the New York edition of the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival where it has the honour of being one of the two opening night films. The screening is scheduled for the evening of 9th June at the Walter Reade Theatre, Lincoln Center. Please spread the word!

Finally, our Swiss distributors, Filmcoopi-Zurich, are releasing the film in the German part of Switzerland on 29th of June. This is the first official release of Dreaming Lhasa and we are looking forward very much to seeing the response. We hope the Swiss Tibetan community will come out in full force to support the film.
